Aimee was born in 1005AE to Mancel Ludlow and Amarika Ludlow.

Blind from birth, Aimee experienced synaesthesia and therefore fell deeply in love with music. She credits her great talent to this condition. She played many different instruments but was most interested in the harpiscord and flute.

The murder of her mother and sister in 1014AE (at 9 years old) shook her greatly.

After the death of her husband Jason in 1052, Aimee allowed a year of mourning before returning to her music tours. She left her two trueborn children to be raised by servants in Caybourne.

Since reaching her 50s, Aimee grew more and more jealous of other musicians and constantly felt like she was losing relevance. She had never really put much thought into her physical attractiveness as an entertainer prior to motherhood and the Pirate War, but now she felt she was missing that vital edge. So she only entertained high-brow customers, catering to a certain 'class' of people who would enjoy true classical music played by a successful noblewoman with years of musical prowess behind her.
