The official Aradian calendar year consists of twelve months over the span of the four seasons. These months are consisted of thirty days each and are consistent with the cycle of the moon. They are in order:

  1. New Moon (Winter), The month of New Moon is naturally a stamp of the next oncoming year, full of renewed resolutions and progression into the next page of the great saga of Terros.
  2. Lover's Moon (Winter), Historically Lover's Moon is the time of weddings, procreation, and intense passion due to the looming springtime bringing with it a need for work and labor, causing people to become intimate far more frequently before the growing season begins.
  3. Soldier's Moon (Spring), Historically, Soldier's Moon marked a time when certain peoples felt was right to go out on campaign, while the serfdom should be at home farming and getting the soil tilled, instead their lords commanded them to march forward before their rivals had a chance to till their own fields, this would inevitably lead to...
  4. Fool's Moon (Spring), Fool's Moon is the inevitable consequence of campaigns during Soldier's Moon in the olden days, where the fool was the one who campaigned and did not till the fields for that year's harvest, and their serfs would go hungry, while the rivals who abstained would reap all the benefits of the land.

There is merit and history behind each name of the month for it's historic implications. This is the basic cycle that all Everglowian-related Houses follow officially.
