Xanmar, The Lightbringer

Xanmar Dul-Sansiska is Dul-Sansiska the Shield Maiden's second born, and most magically adept of her four children. He earned the title of Lightbringer for his mastery over the Servant's Oath.

WORDS

Xanmar briefly talked with Divankul, though the latter didn't fully recognize his elder brother at the time, and he had to refrain from killing his companion, despite her appearance being that of a Vrow. He let the duo know where Reynis Dul-Sansiska was, and went back on the hunt for more Vrow.

Lightbringer[]

Xanmar was the portrait of a paladin, his blade was forged by the high elves imbuing it with the strength of the Golden Tongue. His armor cast by the greatest of the dwarves, to be unbreakable and unyielding tot he powers of darkness. His self baptized in the purest waters in all of Terros, underneath the mountains of Obscura where the dark elves first emerged. Every step he took was a step against the Void, it was an insatiable need to purge them from all of existence, and for this he was deemed The Lightbringer.

Xanmar would lead a special strike team of paladins, exorcists, healers, witch hunters, and priests against high value demons and Void Elves in particular during the First Demon War. They were to hunt high value officers and kill any Vrow they could manage to get their blades into, they were so effective at this they were feared among Vermithrax's ranks as Aradia's Ghosts, appearing on the battlefield to strike at a lieutenant and disappear against as chaos grew in the demons left behind.

Xanmar himself would eventually be lost when the ground itself collapsed underneath his feet and he fell into The Void. Instead of screaming like most might, he yelled out praises to Aradia, for he was being sent to fight the enemy head on in her name. He has thus far been successful, and been a pain in the ass for the demons for the past eight hundred years, fighting a guerrilla campaign on his own trying to hunt as many Vrow as he can. His current head count is six hundred and fifty eight heads, as he has to pick them off when they are relatively alone. He is seen as a nuisance generally, but is feared enough by lesser demons that everyone just tries to keep track of where he is normally and avoid him, as attempting to snuff out this golden light is more trouble than it is worth.

Xanmar is capable of using holy magic offensively and defensively, but mostly its used to give him boons of rejuvenation and the like to keep his strength in his unending quest to destroy all Vrow for the sins of his ancestors to be cleansed. His hatred for their race is so unrelenting that he'd rather be slain charging a horde of them by himself than even let the thought of retreating enter his mind. Some might find this mentally unstable, but other zealots would be envious of just how devoted Xanmar is to his faith and how unwavering he remains in his commitments to it.

Xanmar wields a human styled greatsword, forged by master high elvish smiths and imbued with high tier holy magics, the blade is simply also known as The Lightbringer. It is holy and thus very damaging to demons, tot he point that just getting near it burns their flesh being in its radiance, it always shines with a brilliant of near daylight, and causes Xanmar to also be known as The False Star. Xanmar's armor is the finest dwarvish smithwork in existence at the point of 1015, it would be a national treasure if he were to be in Terros with it. As a relic of a time before The First Demon War, it is nigh unbreakable and resonates with well crafted thrumming energy for a diligent metalworking people.

Xanmar himself needs little rest outside prayers and meditations, he does not need to eat or drink water, as ever 'day' he is gifted mana from Aradia's blessing and rejuvenated for the day so long as he continues his worship. Xanmar is in the same condition as his peak in The First Demon War, he has not aged a single day.

Xanmar has clashed with General Malakai previously, though neither could properly wound the other in combat, Xanmar sees this as a challenge and values the General's head as a divine trophy to show his faith to Aradia. Unlike Divan, Xanmar has no consideration that humans or other races other than the elves are somehow weaker or less equipped. Instead he sees that any who follow Aradia are granted strengths only they can make use of, and are therefore invaluable in many ways that most elves can't truly see past their bigotry to understand.
